Welcome to the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships Volunteer Registration!

Rock Hill is hosting the 2017 UCI BMX World Championships in July 2017. We’d love to have you join in the fun and help us welcome guests from all over the world. More than 3,000 riders from nearly 40 countries will be competing.

Please take a look at the volunteer options. Festivities and the competitions will take place over many days, and volunteers will be needed throughout.

Thank you for your interest. Check out the details below:

1.  Requirements: To volunteer you must be at least 18 years old and able to carry out assigned duties. Many of these include standing. Typical volunteer shifts are three hours. Volunteer duties are specific and will have job descriptions. Team leaders will be available to answer questions.

2. Attire: Volunteers will receive an approved T-shirt to wear during his or her shift. Bottoms may be khaki, navy, black, or white. You may wear professional length shorts, skirts, or skorts. Please, no denim. We encourage you to wear sunscreen, a cap, or visor. And, of course, comfortable shoes, appropriate for standing (sometimes on asphalt.)  

3.  Weather considerations: This event is rain or shine. Please prepare for heat (it will be July in the south!) and rain.
